Station architecture

Instrument interfaces, power management, local storage and communications are configured as a station package. A station preserves the context of each observation alongside its measurement.

Power and communications

Battery, solar or supplied electrical power is selected for the operating environment. Local buffering separates observation collection from the availability of a communications link.

Maintenance planning

Support plans specify robotic access, calibration tasks, exchangeable parts and inspection intervals. Environmental exposure and the energy budget shape those plans.

Engineering basis

Stations buffer observations during link outages and transmit when capacity is available. Battery, solar or supplied electrical power is sized to the local operating environment.

Autonomous build and service

Continuum connects this product’s engineering configuration to robotic fabrication, inspection and maintenance. Programme support specifies the machines, tooling, access, energy and replacement materials required for the delivered equipment. Customer authorities approve the operating task and significant changes.
